Title : "Embodied Cognition - A Historical-Systematic Case For a Radical View"
Abstract : This paper will draw on the tradition of ontological arguments to retrieve a notion of embodied cognition that is, judged from contemporary standards, rather radical. However, we will try to argue that, historically, it is today’s omnipresence of computational metaphors in the philosophy of mind that is exceptional, and systematically, that there are good reasons for retrieving such a notion of embodied cognition.
